Woman charged with multiple offences following stabbing outside Derby supermarket |

A woman has been charged with multiple offences following a stabbing outside a supermarket in Derby. Armed officers were called out to reports that a woman had been injured outside the Asda in Arleston Lane, Sinfin, just after 8.35pm on Wednesday 5 November. The victim, a woman in her 40s, suffered a non life-threatening injury to her arm and hand. Officers have now arrested and charged Lisa Kelly in relation to the incident. The 40-year-old, of Burton Road, Derby, has been charged with:- *Section 18 grievous bodily harm with intent *Possession of Class A drugs (crack cocaine) *Two counts of being in possession of a bladed article in a public place *Theft She has been remanded into custody and is due to appear at Southern Derbyshire Magistrates’ Court today (Monday 10 November). Members of the public may have seen an increased number of officers in the area following the incident. The Safer Neighbourhood Team have been conducting extra patrols for community reassurance.
